About the pool
Location: Owned by Delamere Forest School and
situated in their grounds.
Exclusivity: Puddle Ducks have exclusive use
during hire times.
Changing rooms: Two changing rooms for females and
a smaller changing rooms for males all with direct access to the
pool.
Poolside Assistant: There is a Puddle Ducks
poolside assistant.
Pool Temp: 30-32oC
Pool Dimensions: 13m x 6m.
Depth: 0.9m graduating to 1.4m (roped off beyond
this depth)
Max Class Ratios: 8 children/adult pairs:1

Parking: There is ample free parking a short walk

About the teachers
Kath
Kath joined Puddle Ducks as a poolside assistant but we very quickly realised what a fantastic teacher she would make. With three small children of her own (all Puddle Ducks too) she leads a busy life! Kath is a very bubbly person and her classes are always full of fun. She loves the thrill of getting little people to swim on their own.
Sharon
Joining Puddle Ducks was a completely new challenge for Sharon who had neither taught before nor taken any of her children to preschool swimming classes. However, Sharon has a natural empathy with children and manages to make all her customers feel at ease immediately. Sharon always makes our team feel good too, telling us she has the "best job in the world"!
Debs
Debs was one of Puddle Ducks' earliest customers, bringing her daughter along when she was just a few months old. Swimming subsequently played such an important part in their relationship, that Debs wanted to be able to share this with other Mums. Debs is a very dedicated teacher who enjoys sharing her knowledge with our customers, and making sure everyone is always having fun.
Susan
Susan was already a qualified swimming teacher and a Tumble Tots teacher too, so joining Puddle Ducks was a natural next step for her. Susan tells us the day passes too quickly when she is in the water teaching, and she goes home "buzzing". She has a real enthusiasm for teaching and fantastic technical knowledge which she shares readily.
