Our Pools
Puddle Ducks hire many pools and all are different. However, every pool is carefully chosen to be suitable for our classes and our customers.
Our pools offer the best possible pool environment for teaching babies, infants or school children.
The pools are usually warmer than a normal swimming pool (30 degrees C or over) and a good depth to stand comfortably in the water. All pool areas are also large enough and deep enough to easily swim. Unless your baby is particularly small it is unlikely that they will get cold in a half hour lesson. The pool (or roped off pool area) is hired exclusively by Puddle Ducks.
Puddle Ducks is always interested in hiring new pool venues. If you know or own a pool that may be suitable, please contact us.
Important Notes
- All our pools are hired to Puddle Ducks. To ensure continuing availability please respect all properties, and take home all rubbish, including used disposable swim nappies.
- Customers are welcome to bring a guest to watch lessons, but please ask your guest to remove outdoor shoes before entering poolside.
- Usually changing rooms are quite small, so please minimise baggage as much as possible.
- Unless otherwise stated, preschool classes have a maximum of eight children in the water with their parents, with one teacher. In the Swim Academy, there are a maximum of eight children in the water with two teachers in the shallow end (Octopus classes) and a maximum of six children in the water with one teacher poolside in the deep end (Goldfish classes).
Enjoying the water
